AC01375 - Hot Air Gravity Kit - Traditional, Use With HE250R, HE275CF, HE325,HE350, ME300 by Ventis

The (AC01375) Traditional Style Hot Air Gravity Distribution Kit is an accessory designed for the Ventis fireplace. This kit enables you to heat other parts of your home located directly above the fireplace using a gravity-based distribution system.

The kit includes two grills, two 90-degree elbows, and six steel brackets with accompanying hardware and fasteners. The grills are positioned above the fireplace to allow the hot air to rise and distribute into the rooms above. The higher you install the grills, the more draw and heat will be generated.

The hot air ducts included in the kit must maintain a minimum height of 68 inches. The maximum length of the hot air ducts should not exceed 10 feet. When the ducts pass through walls or floors, a 2-inch clearance from combustible materials must be maintained.

To complete the installation, an 8-inch duct (which is not included in the kit) is required. The duct is used to connect the grills, elbows, and steel brackets, creating a path for the hot air to flow from the fireplace to the desired areas of your home.
